Danny Rand, known as Iron Fist, is a fictional character appearing in Marvel Cinematic Universe television series.
After surviving a plane crash that killed his parents, young Danny was taken to the mystical city of K'un-Lun where he trained in martial arts and Chi control. In Iron Fist Season , Danny returns to New York City after years of being presumed dead, seeking to reconnect with his past and reclaim his family's company, Rand Enterprises.
He possesses the ability to summon and channel his Chi into his fist, granting him incredible strength and durability. This ability manifests as a glowing fist, hence the name Iron Fist.
